General Questions

The flavors each month are often picked with certain holidays or themes in mind.
To see the current month’s flavors, go to Monthly Flavors and click on the most recent post.

Almost certainly yes! The only thing I cannot do is vegan or sugar free chocolates.
Subscriptions
Go to the shop, subscriptions, and pick your box size(s) for cookies and/or chocolates!
Yes, absolutely! Just put in the name and address of the person(s) you are sending to, and it will ship directly to them!
If you order in the last 10 days of the month, you will recieve your first box the next month.
To pause or cancel yuor subscription, go to your account login, and hit suspend or cancel. To change your subscription, go to your account login, and change your subscription from there.
Custom Orders
At least 2 weeks in advance of the event date.
I deliver in the Bay Area for $10 delivery fee.
You can pick up in Campbell for free!
Pricing for Occasion Cakes varies greatly depending on design. All pricing will be quoted on an individial basis.
Shipping
Orders are shipped via UPS. Please contact me for other shipping requests.
The first full week of the month, or the next Monday following placing your order. I only drop off deliveries Monday-Wednesday to minimize the amount of time your goodies are sitting around!
UPS usually takes 2-3 days to arrive. You will get shipping info emailed to you when your order is completed!

Yes, we’re excited to now offer in-store pickup as a convenient option for your ChocolateByE.com purchase.
Simply choose the “Free Local Pickup” option at checkout (only available to certain CA zip codes), and your order will be prepared for local pickup locally at our new Carlsbad location.
If you’re purchasing from another location, but would like to place an order for someone else to pick up, please call the Cafe directly to make arrangements.
When you’re browsing our website and add items to your cart, you’ll see an option at checkout to “Free Local Pickup”. Keep in mind, this is only available to select local California zip codes.
Select this option at checkout, and we’ll know that you plan to pick up your order in store.
Great question! Once your order is placed, we’ll get everything prepared.
You’ll receive an email (and/or text message, if you’ve opted in) when your order is ready for pickup.
Just bring that notification and a valid photo ID to the California Cafe, and we’ll hand over your order!
We understand that things come up! We’ll hold your order at the store for 5 days from the date you receive the “Ready for Pickup” notification. If you are unable to pick up your order within that time frame, please contact the store directly to make arrangements.
“Free local pickup” will only display to select local zip codes in the California region. If you believe your zip code was somehow excluded from this offer, please let us know asap and we’ll reach out to help.
Absolutely! Please provide their name and phone number in the notes when checking out. We will notify both parties when the order is ready for local pickup.
Keep in mind, as the buyer, if your location is not near the shop, you won’t see the option for “Free local pickup”. In this case, please contact the Cafe directly to place your order.
